Cora Legere

Legere’s current work is large, colorful mixed media

paintings and whimsical ceramics. The

variety of materials the artist uses allows her to

spread her distorted stylization. Her work

populates a parallel reality with a cast of people

from her memories and experiences. She uses

symbolism and identity through objects in the

environment, such as the hair growing on your leg

or the skull of a goat.
